Student-centered classroom: how to create positive emotional contexts to enhance learning
This course has been created for teachers who want to learn more about building connections with their students in an up to date classroom that encourages participation and engaged learning.
Through practical and interactive activities, participants will learn how to promote a harmonious and positive working environment which sparks students’ curiosity. It has been proven that emotions are the driving force behind the learning process and that students thrive most when they experience positive relationships, connectedness and a sense of belonging.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to take away ideas about practical solutions to apply in their classrooms, in order to contribute to effective learning of their students.

This course is based on practical activities that promote student-centered learning and well-being. By the end of the course, participants will have learned how to encourage students to participate during class. They will understand the importance of cooperation and support in a safe environment in which students feel that their contribution to the lesson is relevant to both the teacher and their classmates. The participants will exchange experiences and learn how to effectively apply and adapt ideas from the course to classrooms in their own professional contexts.

Course fee: EUR 500
The course includes training and working materials, organisational costs and administration costs.
The course fee must be paid 45 days prior to the start of the course.
Cancellation charges: EUR 350.
Upon completion of the course, each participant will be awarded a certificate of attendance, together, if requested, with a Europass Mobility Certificate.
